Rite Aid coupon $5 off $25 3/13-3/14 only

Another great printable coupon from Rite Aid. It  is good Friday and Saturday only, for $5 off a $25 purchase. Click here to print

A Thrifty Tip– Look for items that you have coupons for, or rebates.  Add up the $25 before the coupon or rebate amount will be deducted.  Have the cashier scan your items up to $25, give her the $5 off $25 coupons FIRST….then give her the rest of your coupons to scan.   Is this honest?  Yes you need to remember that the store is getting paid for those coupons from the manufacturer, They WILL get all their money plus 8 cents for every coupon you use.  I always think of a coupon as cash, its not cash from me, but from the Manufacturer.

COUPON POLICY – Local Stores UPDATE 3/11

Please note that each state, each store can differ on  store coupon policy, and they can change from week to week.  These changes apply to my local stores, please check your own stores to see if they have changed too.  I have put this weeks changes in red. Updates as of 3/11/09

I get a lot of questions about coupons, and company policy.  So this week I called around, and talked to the Customer Service in each store asking them what their coupon policy’s are.  I must warn you most cashier have no idea what the coupon policy is in their store.  It is so important to be informed, and be an educated coupon shopper.  Some stores are a little more coupon friendly than others.  If you get a crabby cashier that acts like you are robbing the store, for using coupons.  Remember the store DOES get paid back for your coupons from the manufacturer. A coupon is just like paying with cash.  It just comes from the manufacturer, not you.

Free Gum Anyone????? At Rite Aide

16 packs of gum would have been $15.84
But I only paid .79 cents

At my local Rite Aid they had the gum on a temporary price cut from $1.49 down to $.99
I found them on the candy isle,
BUT in this Sundays paper the Red Plum coupon insert had coupons for $1.00 off 1 mentos.
So it made them FREE  all I had to pay was sells tax.

Thanks Angela for this Thrifty Tip!

$5 off $20 purchase COUPON at Rite Aid UPDATE

To print one for $10 off 30 click here
A tip that you need to remember if you are going to buy products that have a coupons with them.  Buy the $20 worth of products, HAND THEM THE $5 off $20 FIRST…….then hand over all your other coupons.
My local Albertsons will take this coupon ( take competitors coupons)  SO if you use this coupon along with the BUY 10 and SAVE $10 sale you are in for some really good deals.
UPDATE***I went last night and was able to use my coupon at Albertsons, just fine.  BUT as of this morning Albertsons has changed their policy.  They will be happy to take any competitors coupon that are printed in the ad, but they WILL NOT be taking competitors coupons printed off the Internet.  They said they can not tell what ones are fake.  SO from now on they will not take PRINTED competitors coupons.  They will still be happy to to take printed MFR ( manufacturer coupons).    This info was given to me from  Jerriann, the at the Caldwell Albertsons.
