One of our readers who works at Albertsons sent us this Thrifty Find:
Staring today they have BOGO for Town House Crackers or cookies,$4.29
and the vendor put coupons on the box for $1.00 off of one
so that would be $2.29 for two.
We are always finding coupons that the vendors put on products.
Thank-you for such a great blog,

Here is great toothbrush deal:
Yesterday I noticed a great money maker at walgreens. They had many Oral B crossaction toothbruches on clearance for $2. I bought 4 using 4 $1 couponss from the P&G 4/5 and got them each for $1. One of our Thrifty readers found this deal at Walgreens for us!
I think with the fantastic cereal deal at Albertson’s, people are missing this fantastic deal at Walgreens
Buy 1 Skintimate shave gel @ 2.99, it will print off a $3.00 RR.
Next, go buy 2 boxes of Life cereal (on sale for 2/$5.00)
Use a $1/2 coupon from your coupons.com sidebar on your website (Note: they only have plain Life cereal there, so you can’t use that $1/1 maple brown sugar life)
= $4.00 for 2 boxes.
Pay with your $3.00 RR
=$1.00 out of pocket for 2 boxes of cereal & you earn a $2.00 RR
Go buy another Skintimate shave gel @ 2.99, it will print off a $3.00 RR.
Pay with your $2.00 RR and $1.00 cash.
You can just keep on going back and forth and you are only paying .50 a box for the cereal. And $1.00 for the shave gel.
Pretty good deal in my opinion! I just wish there were some Skintimate coupons out there! Thanks for all your helpful tips, Michelle

One of our very first readers found this deal at her local Safeway Looks pretty good!
Thought I’d share with you all about a deal I got this morning.
Safeway has a mix & match deal going on right now where if you buy any 10 participating items at once, you get an automatic $5 off. Bertolli sauces are on the list. After the $5 off, they are $1.50 per pouch. Right next to the sauces, there is a little blinkie machine that spits out coupons ($1 off 1 pouch). So, after coupons, you should pay $5. A $2 catalina (‘money’ you can use on your next Safeway purchase) spits for every 2 pouches you buy.
My specific deal … I bought 10 pouches with 10 coupons. Total is $5. Then I got 5 $2 catalinas for a total of $10. This makes this deal a money maker! 🙂 Not sure how long the catalina deal lasts, but Safeway’s sale is good until Tue. (3/31). Just thought I should pass on this great deal (especially since you don’t need a ‘stash’ of coupons to do it)!
p.p.s. — you don’t have to buy 10 sauces … just make sure they are in groups of 2 and add other items in the mix & match so you have 10 items.
Del Monte fruit cups (in the refrigerated section). If you have the coupons for this ($1 off 1 and $2 off 4). These are also on the mix & match ($.75 each after $5 off). I bought 10. The total would have been $7.50. Minus the $6 in coupons I used (2 $2 and 2 $1) … OOP (out of pocket) cost was $1.50 for 10. PLUS my cashier doubled them (that’s $2 off) … so I got mine for FREE (plus $.50 overage). However, even at $1.50 for 10, that makes them $.15 per cup!
Also Christina found this to go with it:
Here is a Ronzoni deal I came across yesterday and did it again today. Safeway buy 10 you get them for $.75 each. There is a blinkie coupon right by it for $.50 off per box, so it makes the 10 pasta’s $.25 each for a total of $2.50. I had a $2.00 Catalina making it $.50 for 10 boxes. These would be great to go along with the Bertoli Sauce.

One of our readers here in the Boise area found this great Thrifty Tip. This is nation wide, and is even able to be used in Canada and Mexico. This is a great deal to get a year pass for the family and use it where ever you may go. Read her email:
I thought that I would share this with you because not only is it supporting your local zoo but it’s an awesome deal if anyone is planning a vacation this spring/summer!
My family is going to Portland and Seattle and we love going to the zoo! So I was searching on-line for a coupon or deal to our local zoo and decided to look into a year family pass. It only costs $65.00 to our local zoo and that gets you into the zoo for one full year and into all of their events like “Boo at the Zoo” in October.
So I kept reading and our local zoo has a Reciprocal agreement with about 100 zoo’s and you can either get into them for free with your Zoo pass or get a great discount!
Passes to Portland Zoo is $9.75 per adult and Seattle is $11 per adult and kids 3 & up are not much cheaper!…but with the Zoo Family Pass it’s FREE to get into both zoo’s!!! The pass will pay for itself after one trip to our Zoo and one trip to Portland and we still have an entire year left!
