My Thrifty Albertsons deals

These items would have cost $113.18
after preferred savings card $72.52
after coupons and store promotions $36.97
I then used $20 in Catalinas
I paid $16.37

The only thing I bought that did not have a coupon was the Bread on sale for $2.50 and the pair of gloves.  But they were $6.99  on clearance for ONLY .50 cents.   All the details can be found in the post I did for this weeks ad Match-ups.  To read that post click here, or keep scrolling down.

  1. Great job Sarah! Where’d you find the butter spread, I couldn’t find it anywhere at the stadium Albertsons?

  2. how much in catalinas did you have?? I am confused as how you got if 16.37

  3. I listed it right under the $36.97….I used $20 in catalinas. Hope this helps Take care

  4. Sorry Sarah, one more question, did you get the $3.00 catalina to print on the cheese you bought? I thought it was only good on the 2% varieties, so that’s all I bought. Thanks again, Jenn

  5. ok was this the catalinas that printed when you bought it, or did you already have them?

  6. I DID NOT get a catalina, I overlooked that it was only the 2%….darn. But I still bought it, you can’t win them all. But I did get a $2 catalina for the Crystal light.

  7. Amber, It was from last week.

  8. I just want to thank you. I did my first walgreens and rite aide run with coupons and only spent 7.58 when the total purchase was worth 45.58. It could have been 1.67 less but I tend to get timid or nervous and don’t think that clearly. Its funny because I feel like I’m stealing or like the clerk will get made at me, but its all legal! I can’t thank you enough!

  9. Lauren good job!!! I am just like you….very timid it has taken me years to not be scared of using coupons. It only takes one grumpy cashier to make you feel like crap. But As i have found good managers ans cashiers understand that a coupon in money in there pocket and welcome you in the store. Keep up the good work!

  10. You had a a great trip! I had similar savings at Safeway this week. It’s such a good feeling to get so much for so little. Way to go!

  11. Grandma Sycamore Bread is Sara Lee, so if you have a coupon for that it would be a thrifty deal.

  12. Wow, you did awesome! Great score on all the lunchmeat – that stuff can be expensive!
